Providing timely, personalized, and constructive feedback is essential for student growth. In this hands-on session, we'll explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can make the feedback process easier and more effective for educators.
What we'll Do:
- Create with AI: You'll start by generating a piece of writing using an AI tool like Gemini or ChatGPT, stepping into the role of a student.
- Give Feedback with AI: Using the Brisk Teaching Extension, you'll practice giving feedback to your AI-generated writing. We'll use a rubric to ensure that your feedback is consistent and free from bias.
- Reflect Together: We’ll discuss how AI affects our writing and the feedback we give. We'll also explore how important it is to personalize this feedback for our students and consider the ethical implications of using AI in education.
